The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia Mohamed Hussein Roble has arrived in Barawe, Lower Shabelle region.
The delegation was welcomed at Barawe Airport by the President of South West regional state, the Speaker of Parliament, Ministers, MPs, Regional and District Administrations, military officials, traditional elders, civil society organizations among other members.
The visit of the Prime Minister’s delegation in Barawe district is to monitor the security situation in Barawe district, in which one of the South West constituencies will hold parliamentary elections.
Prime Minister Roble is expected to meet with traditional elders, district administration and government as well as AMISOM officials to discuss the security situation in the district and to take part in the Parliamentary elections.
