In recent weeks, there has been an increase in the number of Somali nationals being killed in South Africa by armed south African gangs.
Late last night, a Somali national was shot dead point-blank by a South African gang in Mamelodi, a suburb of Pretoria.
The deceased identified as Mahad Rage Adan, a Somali national, was shot dead by a group of armed robbers outsidehis business, according to a Somali businessman at the scene of crime.
He is the second Somali national to be killed by armed gangs in South Africa in the last 48 hours.
