The Acting President and the First Vice President of Jubbaland regional state, Mohamud Sayid Aden has today received at the Jubbaland Interim Presidential Palace, the Gedo Regional Dispute Resolution Committee.
The committee comprising of ministers from Puntland, Galmudug, South West, and Hirshabelle regional states of Somalia arrived in Kismayo today morning to meet with Jubbaland officials, traditional elders, politicians and intellectuals from Gedo region living in Kismayo.
The first Vice President of the Jubbaland state gave a brief history of the challenges and the difficult period the Jubbaland state passed in its becoming of a fully fledged state and called on the leaders to find a lasting solution to the Gedo region.
