Reports from Wartanabada, Howlwadag and Hodan districts in Banadir region indicate that the Somali National Army have carried out a massive search operations in the area.
The government forces are said to be conducting house-to-house searches as well as searches on youths.
There is no word yet from the security agencies of the Somali government on the operations and searches carried out last night in Hodan and Wartanabada neighborhoods in Mogadishu but source privy to the search operation revealed of an intelligence report on Al-Shabaab presence in those areas.
