The Supreme Court of Puntland regional State of Somalia will today announce the final verdict in Galkayo for the 18 members of Al-Shabaab terror group.
The 18 Al-Shabaab members were already sentenced to death by Puntland military court based in Mudug region and in central cayn, although they appealed the sentence.
The Supreme Court has been hearing the appeal for the past few days, and the court is expected to announce its final decision today.
7 different lawyers, some from Mogadishu, are advocating for the defendants.
Security is said to has been beefed up in and around the supreme court premises.
