Jubbaland standard 8 Primary schools students sit for national examinations amid tight security.

Schools across Jubbaland regional state of Somalia have today sat for the primary schools examinations amid tight security.
The Director General of the Jubbaland Ministry of Education, Ahmed Osman Siyaax, who spoke to Radio Kismayo said the standard 8 exams will kick off today and it’s all systems go for the Jubbaland Education ministry.
The Director General said the standard 8 students sitting for the exams are about 2810 students with 1112 being female students while 1698 are male students.
Jubbaland Education Minister, Abdinasir Serar has called on students sitting for the standard 8 exams to avoid exam malpractices and distance themselves from cheating.

This year’s examinations are said to be different from the previous exams interms of preparations and conduct.
