Somali government condemns bombings that killed students in Kabul, Afghanistan

The Federal Government of Somalia has strongly condemned the bomb attack in the capital Kabul, Afghanistan which killed a number of students in a school ground.

A statement from the Somali government said the bombings were “terrorist” and “deeply regrettable” and share the grief of the Afghan people and the government.

“The Federal Government of Somalia condemns the terrorist bombings that killed innocent students in the Afghan capital, Kabul. We stand by and share the grief of the people and government of Afghanistan,” said a statement from the Somali government.

No group has yet claimed responsibility for the bombings which killed dozens of students in Afghanistan and has been widely condemned by the Taliban.

Afghan officials say at least 25 people have been killed and more than 50 injured in the bomb blast near a school in the Afghan capital, Kabul.
