The Afisiyoni tent Somali Federal government and its regional leaders meeting is scheduled to continue to iron out the Somali poll dispute.
The meeting which was set to resume yesterday failed to convene after Galmudug regional state President Ahmed Abdi Kariye Qoor Qoor went on an emergency trip to Dhusamareb, the capital of Galmudug.
The Galmudug regional state president Ahmed Abdi Kariye Qoor Qoor is said to have arrived in the Somali capital, Mogadishu yesterday afternoon to attend the resumption of the federal government and regional state heads meeting in Mogadishu.
Somali Minister of Information Osman Abukar Dubbe said last night that the federal government of Somalia is committed to making the consultative meetings between the leaders of the federal government and member states fruitful.
Representatives of the international community in Somalia have issued a statement last night urging the Somali political leaders to reach an agreement and make the necessary concessions to hold elections in the country as a special gift to the Somali people .
