The Coronavirus vaccine, which was recently distributed by the Somali government in Puntland, is expected to begin later today.
Members of the Puntland Ministry of Health said the vaccine would be rolled out at 40 locations in nine regions of Puntland regional state.
They also said that the first phase will start with health workers, teachers, police officers and people over the age of 50 with diabetes and high blood pressure.
Finally, the Ministry of Health said the vaccine will be free and will be accessed in mapped vaccination centers.
