Somali politicians and various segments of society have expressed concern over the situation in the country, with many believing that Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo has failed to bring about a comprehensive electoral process.
Among the politicians who spoke on the issue is MP Hassan Abdi Hassan Yare who expressed concern about the situation in the country saying the nation is in a critical political juncture and now that president Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo term in office is over, a lot need to change peacefully.
The lawmaker said the Somali nation is bigger than self-interest of anyone and things should be decided with outmost urgency.
The country’s upcoming election has been marred by controversy that has not yet been resolved.
