The President of Puntland State of Somalia, Sacid Abdullahi Deni has met in person with Swedish Ambassador to Somalia Stefan Tillander, accompanied by Swedish Government officials and officials from Diakonia organization in Somalia.
The meeting discussed cooperation between Puntland and Sweden, with emphasis on promoting democratic state system.
Sweden praised the efforts of the President by offering democratic system of governance.
The President was accompanied by the Puntland Minister of State for Finance, Mohamed Abdikadir Osman, the Puntland Representative to Sweden, Abdiaziz Elmi Birjeeb, among other top government officials.
