Police in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa say they have seized weapons and grenades illegally owned.
A search of the city’s suburbs found 113 rifles and pistols in the Nefassilk Lafto district of Addis Ababa.
Police said the weapons were found in various homes and offices in the area. 55 AK-47 assault rifles and 19 hand grenades were among the weapons seized.
Police also said they seized $ 64,000 US Dollars.
Police have not identified any suspects in connection with the operation as more probe continues into the incident.
