Jubbaland President Ahmed Mohamed Islam has received at his residence in the Somali capital Mogadishu the Governor of Benadir Region and Mayor of Mogadishu Omar Mohamud Mohamed Finish.
The meeting between the Jubbaland state President and Governor Ahmed Omar has discussed a host of issues on the political situation and the recent progress in the peace and transition in the country.
The President of Jubbaland thanked the Mayor of Mogadishu for his participation in the recent consultative meeting between the Somali Federal government and the heads of the Federal member states on electoral issues in the country which was held in the Somali capital Mogadishu.
Ahmed Islam and a host of Jubbaland delegation are still in Mogadishu. The President has been having various meetings with federal and state government officials and somali politicians during his stay in Mogadishu.
