Jubbaland forces have this morning taken control of Jana Abdalle area from Al Shabaab terrorists in Lower Jubba region.
Jannaa Abdalle was an important point for the movement of Al Shabaab militants in the southern and northern parts of Jubba, as well as the main source of revenue for vehicles and civilians traveling between Kismayo and Afmadow districts.
Jannaa Abdalle is 60km from Kismayo and the same distance from Afmadow, which represents the junction of the two districts.
