The President of the Jubaland State of Somalia, Ahmed Mohamed Islam, has expressed his heartfelt condolences following the tragic death of Dhobley District Commissioner Hassan Abdi Hashi, who passed away in a road accident while on official duty in Wajir County, Kenya.
In his condolence message, President Ahmed Mohamed Islam extended his sympathies to the late commissioner’s family, relatives, the administration of Dhobley District, and the people of Jubaland as a whole during this difficult time.
The President described the late Hassan Abdi Hashi as a dedicated and principled public servant who remained committed to his responsibilities throughout his career.
He noted that the commissioner played a significant role in strengthening local governance, enhancing security, serving the community of Dhobley District, and supporting the advancement of education across Jubaland.
“The late Hassan Abdi Haashi was a loyal and hardworking leader whose service and commitment to the people will be remembered,” the President said.
President Ahmed Mohamed Islam prayed for Allah to grant the deceased Jannatul Firdaus and to give patience, strength, and faith to his family, loved ones, colleagues in the Dhobley District administration, and the entire people of Jubaland as they mourn this profound loss.
