Security forces in Jubbaland have successfully apprehended a suspect accused of a fatal killing in Kismayo following days of sustained surveillance and investigation.
The arrested individual, identified as Nur Hussein Mohamed, is alleged to be responsible for the murder of the late Abdihakim Hassan Ali, an incident that occurred in Kismayo’s main market on May 26, 2026.
Authorities confirmed that the arrest came after a thorough manhunt carried out by security agencies determined to bring the perpetrator to justice.
According to officials, the suspect will soon be presented before the Jubbaland Military Court, where he will face legal proceedings in accordance with the law.
