
The Acting Commander of the Jubbaland State Police Force and Head of the Lower Jubba Regional Police Division, Colonel Sadiiq Mahmoud Dhogor, today held a follow‑up and progress review meeting in his office with the Commander of the Sierra Leone Police Contingent, Ibrahim Martyn Fahim Samura, and senior United Nations Police (UNPOL) official Walter Santos.
The meeting built upon earlier engagements between the parties, focusing on strengthening the skills and professional capacity of the Jubbaland Police Force.
Both sides agreed to accelerate the next phases of training and development programs, particularly those centered on modern policing technologies, to ensure Jubbaland officers gain competencies aligned with international policing standards.
Officials from UNPOL and the Sierra Leone Police reaffirmed their commitment to sustaining the ongoing cooperation. They emphasized the importance of turning previous agreements into tangible actions that lead to measurable improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of the Jubbaland Police Force.
