Jubbaland State’s Daraawiish forces stationed in Bardheere have carried out a major security operation targeting a hideout of Al-Shabaab Khawaarij militants approximately 40 kilometers from the town.
The raid struck key positions of the extremist group, resulting in the elimination of three insurgents and injuries to four others, according to Bardheere district’s social affairs chairman, Hussein Abdullahi Khalane, who spoke to the media.
Khalane confirmed the operation was a success, emphasizing its primary goal: to secure the area and weaken the capabilities of terrorist networks threatening civilians.
This mission forms part of Jubbaland’s ongoing efforts to liberate communities from Khawaarij oppression and restore lasting peace and stability across its territories.
