The Speaker of the Lower House of Parliament of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Sheikh Adan Mohamed Noor (Madobobe) has today received the new UNHCR representative to Somalia, Mr. Charles Mballa.
The meeting between the Lower House speaker and the UNHCR Representative was largely on introduction and exchange of information as the representative was recently appointed to the position.
Mr. Charles lauded the approval of the Somali Refugee Bill passed by the Parliament, which is important for the country and refugees as well as the displaced persons in general.
