A high level delegation from the United Nations Children’s fund have today arrived in Kismayo, the Jubbaland State of Somalia.
The UNICEF delegation led by the UNICEF deputy head Najmadin Kadir Bilal was welcomed by the Jubbaland Planning Minister, Abdirahman Abdi Ahmed at the Adden Abdulle International Airport in Kismayo.
The delegation, which will be in Kismayo for few days will hold various meetings and talks with the Jubbaland ministries that are in charge of projects funded by the UNICEF organization.
UNICEF mainly supports Water, Education and Health projects.
Jubbaland State is expected to submit its 2023 plans to the head of UNICEF, project plans that are expected to directly benefit the community in Jubbaland state.
