The Supreme Court of the United States has agreed to hand over the tax return documents of the former President of the United States, Donald Trump, to a committee of the House of Representatives.
A subcommittee of the House of Representatives has been searching since 2019 to find the tax documents paid by Donald Trump for six years, including four years of his presidency.
Trump asked the Supreme Court at the end of October to reject an order issued by a court in New York that authorized the investigation of Trump’s tax returns.
The decision of the Supreme Court yesterday is the former President of the United States Trump’s third defeat at the Supreme Court this year alone.
There has been no reaction from Trump yet.
