Kismayo district administration has today announced the commencement of the annual tax collection on properties and businesses.
Kismayo Deputy District Commissioner, Rashid Abdi Ibrahim said in an interview with Radio Kismayo that the annual collection of property and business taxes in Kismayo has officially begun and urged for cooperation.
The deputy district commissioner said the tax collection process is underway and officially commenced on the 25th of this month.
He called on the people of Kismayo to work with the tax collectors, adding that anyone who refuses to pay the tax will be liable to a fine.
