The First Deputy Speaker of the House of the People of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Ms. Sadiyo Yassin Haji Samatar, had a private meeting with the Chargé d’Affaires of the Norwegian Embassy, Haakon Svane and the Special Representative of the Norwegian Ministry for Foreign Affairs to Somalia, Ms. Heidi Elburgi Johansen.
Representatives from Norway have discussed with Speaker Sadiyo Yassin the empowerment of women in politics, especially those in the House of the People of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
