Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Somalia in India takes over office

The Office of the Somali Embassy in India has been officially taken over by the Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Abdifatah Abdullahi Nur from the incumbent Somali Ambassador to India, Faduma Abdullahi Mohamud Insaaniyah.

A brief ceremony held at the Embassy office was attended by all Diplomats working for the Somali Federal republic Embassy in the India.

Meanwhile, a farewell ceremony was held for the outgoing Somalia Ambassador to India, Faduma Abdullahi Mohamud Insaaniyah.

Diplomats working at the Somali Embassy in India in NEW DELHI have honored Ambassador Faduma with a dinner and awards in honor of her dedicated service to nation.

Mr. Abdifatah Abdullahi Nur, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy has also thanked the hard working efforts of Amb. Faduma and the difficult conditions she worked in during the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting restrictions that have affected work services and the Somali community in general in India.

During the farewell ceremony, Amb. Faduma Abdullahi Mohamed was presented with a Certificate of Merit by colleagues.

Ambassador Faduma Abdullahi Mohamud thanked the Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy, Abdifatah Abdullahi Nur and all the Diplomats for their respect and dedication to the Somali nation especially the Somali people who come for various services from the Embassy in India.
