The Somali government’s technical committee for negotiations, the national security transition process, has announced the national secuity plan agreement at a meeting with members of the African Union Peace and Security Council.
The meeting was chaired by the Director General of the Ministry of National Defense, Hassan Mohamed Said Samatar
According to a preliminary report, the commissions’ fruitful discussions resulted in an agreement between the Somali government and the African Union Peace and Security Council on the reorganization and implementation of the National Security Forces take over from the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM).
