Somali Foreign Minister, Abdisaid Muse Ali has condemned the attack in Abu Dhabi, where Yemeni Houthis attacked with a drone loaded with explosives.

A statement from the Minister expressed his condolences to the victims of the blasts and expressed their support for the United Arab Emirates.
“On behalf of Somali Federal government, I extend my deepest condolences to the victims and their families of the Abu Dhabi terror attack.Terrorism is a major threat to the region and international security. We stand with the people of the United Arab Emirates,” The statement said.

The Houthi group in Yemen has claimed responsibility for the bombings, saying it was in response to a US airstrike in Yemen.

It is the first time the Somali government has condemned attacks in the United Arab Emirates since relations between the two countries soured, but recently Somali Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble said the relations had been restored and the rest would be completed.
