The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mohamed Hussein Roble was last received in Doha, Qatar by Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and Prime Minister Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Althani.
Prime Minister Roble has received an official invitation from Qatari officials and they are expected to discuss a host of issues among them strengthening of relations between the two countries as well as implementing Qatar’s projects in Somalia.
The members of the Council of Ministers, who are part of the Prime Minister’s delegation in Qatar, will also meet with Qatari officials to discuss the country’s needs.
The government of Qatar is one of Somalia’s closest allies and is currently implementing development projects, including the construction of a road linking Mogadishu and Afgoye as well as the ongoing Mogadishu-Jowhar road.
