The Northern Regions Electoral Implementation Committee said pre-election speeches by candidates for the Upper House had been postponed.
A statement from the commission reads:
“We would like to inform all the candidates who have registered for the Upper House elections in Somaliland that there will be a delay in today’s speeches. We will report back in time,” The commission said in a statement.
