The Kenyan government is setting up a center to complete the process of developing the Covid 19 vaccine, which will increase access to the vaccine.

President Uhuru Kenyatta, said this would reduce Kenya’s dependence on vaccines from donor countries.

He added that it was now clear that they could not rely solely on friendly countries, which could not address the country’s health crisis.

The government, meanwhile, plans to build a center to manufacture human immunizations, as well as other live vaccines.

President Uhuru emphasized that the people and the country must be prepared for anything that could happen before the country is hit by Covid again.

Kenya has recently seen an increase in new cases of Covid 19, with an extra two-month night curfew.
