Hir-Shabelle State President Ali Gudlawe Hussein has yesteday met with British Ambassador to Somalia Kate Foster in Somalia’s capital, Mogadishu.
The two discussed election security, the humanitarian affairs and the quota representation of women ‘s local council plans.
The Hir-Shabelle regional state President shared the magnitude of the damage caused by the flooding of the Shabelle River and called for assistance for those displaced by the floods in Hir Shabelle.
He also called on the British Government to support the training of police and Darawish forces to ensure adequate security in Hirshabelle State.
