The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mohamed Hussein Roble has met with Somali business people to discuss the resurgence of coronavirus pandemic in the country.
The Minister for Health, Fawzia Abikar Nur, briefed the traders on the state of the Coronavirus, saying that the situation in the country was critical.
Some of the traders who attended the meeting pledged to play their part in controlling and dealing with the resurgence of the coronavirus in the country.
The Somali Premier and the business community in Mogadishu have agreed to form a 12-member committee, four appointed by the Prime Minister and eight selected by members of the business community to take part in the effort to control and treatment the disease.
The Prime Minister called on the business community in Benadir region to play their part and help the Somali community during this critical time in the country.
Coronavirus deaths have increased in recent weeks across the country, with the Somali Ministry of Health announcing that it has registered 7,518 so far.
