The President of Puntland State of Somalia, Sacid Abdullahi Deni, has appointed Galkayo District Commissioner and Deputy Mayor by a Presidential Decree No. 02.
The President of Puntland State of Somalia through Article 80 of the Puntland Constitution and having considered their knowledge and work experience and following the recommendations of the Ministry of Interior, Federalism and Democratization of Puntland appointed the following people.
1. Mohamud Abdinur Adan has been appointed as the interim district commissioner of Galkayo
2. Shafi’i Abdullahi Hashi was appointed as the interim Deputy Chairman of Galkayo District.
This Law shall come into force upon the signature of the President and shall be signed by President Deni. The Galkayo District Council is already in dissolution.
