U.S. health officials have announced that anyone wishing to come to the United States will be asked for a certificate of COVID-19 diagnosis.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says the order, which will take effect in two weeks, will apply to both U.S. citizens and foreigners traveling to the United States.
In the United States, COVID-19 has infected more than 22 million people and killed more than 375,000.
The new order comes at a time when the daily death toll from the disease reached its highest level since the outbreak, killing more than 4,500 people.
