The Deputy Prime Minister of Somalia Mahdi Mohamed Guled Khadar who is in Garowe, the capital of Nugal region has met with the President of Jubbaland State of Somalia Ahmed Mohamed Islam.
The meeting was attended by the Somali Minister for Foreign Affairs, and the two discussed the political situation in the country and the disputed elections in Somalia.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Ahmed Madobe in Garowe have previously met with various officials including Presidential candidate Dahir Mohamud Guelleh and other members.
The city of Garowe was filled with politicians of divergent political views who are there to attend the Heritage Institute Forum which entered its second day today.
