The federal government of Somalia has strongly condemned the burning of vehicles by Al-Shabaab militants in Bakol region.
The vehicles which were set on fire by the Al-Shabaab terror group was en route from Beledweyne to Hudur district in Bakol region.
Somali police spokesman Dhame Sadiq Adan Ali (Duudishe) said in a statement that seven trucks were set on fire by Al-Shabaab in Emed Koorey village in Bakol region.
“At around 08:00 last night, terrorists set fire to seven trucks outside the village of EMED KOOREEY in Bakool region and we are still inquiring more”, Said Dhame Sadiq.
Investigations has been launched into the incident by somali security agencies.
