The Deputy Minister for Health for the Jubbaland government, Abshir Mohamed Abdi, along with his delegation arrived in Ceelwaaq district in the Gedo region of Somalia to officiate the opening of a newly constructed hospital in Ceelwaaq district in Gedo region of Somalia.
The inauguration ceremony of the new hospital in Ceelwaaq was attended by several Jubbaland government ministers, members of parliament, officials from Trocaire led by the Deputy General of Trocaire Somalia, the regional coordinator of the Jubbaland Ministry of Health for Gedo, the Ceelwaaq district administration, Jubbaland Darawiish military officers, and various community representatives.
The new hospital is expected to significantly improve healthcare services in the region, providing much-needed medical support to the local population.
