Officials of the Jubbaland government have today made an inspection visit to Yoontoy village in the North of Kismayo town, where development projects are currently underway including the Kismayo Water Supply Project.
The officials included the Minister for Energy and Water Resources, the Minister of Public Works and Housing, the Jubbaland Water Agency Manager, the Kismayo District Governor among other Jubbaland Government officials.
The leaders inspected various development projects in Yoontoy, particularly the progress of the Kismayo town Water Supply Project which is of great importance to the local community.
The officials praised the engineers and workers of the projects and commended them for their efforts to improve the basic services of the community.
The Kismayo water supply project is considered important and will contribute to the town’s water needs as part of the general plan to develop the Jubbaland government’s water resources infrastructure.
