A statement issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Jubbaland Government has strongly opposed the latest step of the Somali Parliament’s approval of the Electoral and Boundaries Commission.
The statement issued by the ministry categorically said the government of Jubbaland will always stands for the protection of the Constitution, laws, and regulations of the country.
The statement further said that the Federal Government of Somalia has lately been continuously violating the Constitution and the laws of the country, while also implementing important issues without consulting the Somali Federal Member States.
The statement further added that this trend will have serious negative repercussions on the fate of the Somali nation which can inturn trigger widespread political conflicts that can be detrimental to the future of the country.
