The Ministry of Internal Security of the Jubbaland state has said that the Somali Federal Government has ordered the Somali National Army forces to withdraw from the Lower Jubba region front lines.
The Jubbaland Deputy Minister for Internal security has termed the order as a mere “political” outburst adding that the matter could jeopradize the security operation against the Al-shabaab terror group.
He said that the Federal forces withdrawal will result in mass displacement of people in the newly liberated areas.
