The Second Vice President of the Jubbaland state, Abdiqadir Haji Mohamud has today inaugurated a Center meant to spur the Development of Women gender in Kismayo District.
The inauguration event of the center was attended by a host of ministers, the governor of Lower Jubba region, community elders and representatives of women.
The center, which was jointly established by the Jubbaland Ministry of Women and Human Rights Affairs and the GIZ organization will play a critical role in helping displaced women and those with special needs within the community.
