The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has today inspected the General Goordan Camp in Mogadishu which hosts the National Army who recently received training in Eritrea.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has instructed the armed forces to prepare for the war to liberate the country from the Al-Shabaab.
The President who received an honorable welcome from the units of the National Security Division shared the hope of the government and the Somali people to complete the final struggle to eradicate the Al-Shabaab from the country.
“I and the Somali people are happy for your return. From today onwards, we are preparing and moving to face the enemy. We want the new mission to liberate the rest of the areas to be faster than the previous one and to be completed in a short period of time”, Said President Hassan Mohamud.
The President has thanked the Government of Eritrea for the support it showed to the people and the Government of Somalia particularly this difficult time in the liberation of the country.
