The President of the Jubbaland State of Somalia, Ahmed Mohamed Islam has today held a meeting with the Ambassador of the UAE Government to Somalia, Amb Ahmad Juma Al Rumaithi at the embassy.
The Jubbaland President thanked the Government of the United Arab Emirates for its support to the Somali people, especially at this difficult period when parts of the country is still ravaged by drought.
The Jubbaland President and the ambassador also discussed the projects of the UAE government in Jubbaland regional state as well as the fight against terrorism.
