Somali Police Chief General Abdi Hassan Mohamed Hijar, who is on a business trip in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, signed a cooperation agreement with his counterpart, Ethiopian Police Chief General Damelesh Garbamichel.
The Chiefs of Police in Somalia and Ethiopia have agreed on cooperation in the field of security and cooperation in the sharing of various information related to the work of the army.
“The Commander of the Somali Police Force Abdi Hassan Mohamed Hijar who is on a business trip in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, signed an agreement on cooperation in security and training of the Police Force with the Commander of the Federal Police Force of Ethiopia, General Damelesh Garbamichel” said a statement from the Somali Police Command Office.
The agreement signed between the Somali and Ethiopian police chiefs came as the relationship between the Somali and Ethiopian governments keep improving in recent times.
