The Jubbaland Minister for Health, Mohamed Abdi Ogle accompanied by the Director General of the Ministry, Mohamed Hussein and officials from the Jubbaland Ministry of Health have visited the rural northern areas of Kismayo town to check health services being provided in the area as well as inspecting the construction of the emergency operation center.
During the visit, the Jubbaland health minister inspected the villages of Ceeljale 1 and Ceeljale 2, Qamqam and Istanbul which are home to a large number of drought displaced persons. The Jubbaland health ministry is said to be implementing two health centers in the villages within this month.
The Jubbaland health minister has also inspected the Health Center in Goobweyn.
The Jubbaland health Ministry is making efforts to provide medical services to the people who have been severely affected and massively displaced by the drought in Jubbaland state.
The Jubbaland health minister and the Director General have also inspected the ongoing construction of the Emergency Operation Center which will be implemented in Kismayo, Jubbaland state.
