President of Hirshabelle regional state, Ali Abdullahi Hussein Guudlawe, has appointed a cabinet for the first time after being in office for two years.

Guudlaawe named 27 ministers, 27 deputy ministers, and 27 state ministers in a statement issued on Sunday night.

Hirshabelle has become the regional administration with the largest number of government ministers. Guudlawe’s state cabinet is expected to surpass the number of ministers in the federal government.

Hirshabelle also becomes the first regional administration to appoint a state minister to each ministry.

The cabinet, which includes many young politicians, will have to be approved by the state parliament before they can assume their responsibilities.
