The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and his delegation who are visiting Djibouti have last night attended a highly organized dinner at the Djibouti Presidential Palace hosted by the Djiboutian President, Ismail Omar Gelle.
At a very high-value event where the ambassadors of the international countries in Djibouti and other guests were invited, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud was given a warm welcome and shown a high level of honor at the event.
During the dinner event, President Ismail Omar Geelle awarded President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud with the highest medal of honor given by the Government of Djibouti for his role in strengthening the friendship between the two brotherly countries.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, on his part, thanked the President and the people of the brotherly Republic of Djibouti for the medal of honor and the high-level invitation extended to him.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud pointed out that the visit was a good start to promote the deep relationship between the two countries and to strengthen the pillars of socio-economic between the two nations.
In his speech at the dinner, Ismail Omar Guelle expressed his happiness that Hassan Sheikh was re-elected as Somalia President.
