A brief statement from the international community last night has urged Somali lawmakers to vote in good faith and fulfill their constitutional obligations in the interest of the country by electing a candidate they believe will bring the politics and leadership qualities to promote peace, stability, prosperity and good governance to the horn of Africa nation.
The statement from the international community comes less than 24 hours before Somalia’s presidential election.
The international community welcomed the completion of the election process after many delays.
The international community said they will monitor the Somali presidential election closely with all it’s ambassadors in the Somali capital, Mogadishu.
