Somali Government Minister for Transport and Civil Aviation, Duran Ahmed Farah has today chaired a meeting on security at Aden Abdulle Airport following last week’s terror attack.
The meeting was attended by the Director General of the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation, Aden Abdulle Airport Manager, Director of the Immigration Agency, security officials and AMISOM.
During the meeting, Minister Duran Farah was briefed by security officials on Wednesday’s incident at Mariina Gate, one of the airport’s security checkpoints.
The Somali government’s Minister for Transport and Civil Aviation has instructed security agencies to tighten security to prevent such a similar incident in the future.
