Angolan president receives credentials from Somali ambassador to Angola

Angolan President João Lourenço has received credentials from the newly appointed ambassadors of the United States, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Portugal, Spain, Burundi, Indonesia and Somalia.
Ambassador Mohamed Ali Mire is Somalia’s Ambassador to Angola.

The Ambassador conveyed to President João Lourenço a message from Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo, stating that the Somali government is ready to strengthen bilateral relations and co-operate in the economic, political, cultural and diplomatic fields.

On his part, the Angolan president said that they are ready to enhance relations between the two countries so that the two sides can work together.

In late August last year, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Somalia, Mohamed Ali Nur Haji, received a copy of the credentials from Angolan Ambassador to Somalia Sianga Kivuila Samuel Abilio.
