The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo and a host of Somalia delegation has arrived in Doha, Qatar on a two day working visit.
The President, at the invitation of the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, will discuss strengthening of bilateral relations and ways to further enhance fruitful cooperation in the fields of investment, diplomacy and infrastructure development.
“The President’s visit follows previous meetings between President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo and the Emir of Qatar, and is aimed at strengthening the fruitful relations of brotherhood and co-operation between the two countries.
Qatar is a country that is playing a key role in rebuilding Somalia.
The Director of Information of the Presidential Palace, Mr. Abdirashid Mohamed Hashi, reported on the President’s visit.
The Director noted the importance of the President’s visit to the future of cooperation between the two countries as President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo and Prince Tamim will discuss the latest developments in the region and the common interests of the two fraternal peoples.
